Stockholm, Sweden – September 4, 2024: In a formal ceremony held at the Royal Palace in Stockholm, Her Excellency Madame Nana Rosine Ivouba, the newly appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Congo to Sweden, presented her credence letters to His Majesty King Carl XVI Gustaf.
The presentation of the letters of credence marks the official commencement of Ambassador Ivouba's diplomatic mission in Sweden. In her role, she will be responsible for fostering bilateral relations between the two countries, promoting economic cooperation, and strengthening cultural exchanges.
Ambassador Ivouba brings a wealth of experience to her new position. Prior to her appointment, she served in various diplomatic capacities, including at the United Nations Peacekeeping Mission in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
The ceremony was attended by high-ranking officials from both the Swedish government and the Congolese embassy. Following the presentation of credentials, Ambassador Ivouba and King Carl XVI Gustaf engaged in a brief conversation, discussing the potential areas for collaboration between the two nations.
